Happy Easter!

Today we celebrate the victory of life over death, light over darkness, and the renewal of the entire universe.

Today we celebrate the victory of life over death, light over darkness, and the renewal of the entire universe. The Resurrection of Christ is not only a triumph of the spirit, but also a promise of renewal for all of God’s creation.

Just as spring awakens the earth to new bloom, so the Risen Lord calls us to renew our hearts and our attitude towards the world around us.

Our Easter calling:
To be grateful: to thank the Creator for the beauty of our native land, which is a reflection of His glory.

To be responsible: to cherish life in all its manifestations, caring for the environment as a common home entrusted to us by God.

To be light: to bring the joy of the Resurrection through concrete good deeds that heal both man and nature.

May the Easter chime fill our homes with harmony, and our hearts with inexhaustible hope. We wish everyone good health, God’s protection and wisdom to be good stewards of earthly goods. May the light of the Resurrection illuminate our Ukraine and grant us victory and the long-awaited peace!

With prayer and blessing
The Commission on Ecology of the Mukachevo Greek Catholic Diocese
