Fair of eco-products

On August 7th, a fair was held in support of the Ukrainian Armed Forces at the base of the Greek Catholic parish of the Lord Ascension of the village of Mala and Velyka Roztoka in the Khust district.

There were handmade products on the fair made by children during the workshop “Aroma salt for a lavender bath”, which took place on August 3, 2022, and was conducted by IRCEF’s leading expert Mrs. Natalia Stetso (https://ircef.com/ircef-eco-event-for-children-during-the-war-in-ukraine/). In particular, these were bags with aromatic salt, lavender, dried flowers, bouquets of lavender and spikelets, as well as candles with the addition of essential oils.

We express our gratitude to the children who took part in these events and contributed to the victory of Ukraine. Also, many thanks to the parishioners for their support and active participation in the event. All recovered funds were given to volunteers to purchase dry showers for our defenders.

The event was held within the framework of the project “Churches, religious and public organizations for the environmental of national minorities”, implemented by the Interreligious and Environmental Civil Forum of Eastern Europe (IRCEF) (head by  Alexander Bokotey) in cooperation with the German Nature Conservation Union (NABU Bundesverband NABU International ) under with the support of the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Auswärtiges Amt) project coordinators Ivan Tymofeiev (NABU)Nataliya Kulya (IRCEF).
