we are one step closer to a cleaner environment

Traditionally, on the basis of the training center of the National Pedagogical University named after M. Drahomanov, the ecological action “If we clean – we’ll have a cleaner environment” took place on the International Earth Day (April 22nd). More than 20 adults and children of IDPs, who now live on the basis of the training center, expressed their desire to take part in the ecological action. Everyone actively participated in cleaning the territory of the training center and the s areas from the garbage. Adults swept away the remnants of vegetation, planted flower beds, children willingly collected garbage and sorted it into packages. Everyone tried and wanted to be useful.

Each of the participants understood that they could make a small contribution to the protection of the environment. They realize that the Earth is the main wealth and it requires our care and proper treatment. We must preserve its beauty and uniqueness for our descendants. This holiday is for everyone on this planet. It has the tendency to unite the people for environmental protection and remind us the planet that gave us life is unique and in need of care and protection. On this day, every inhabitant of the planet can make a small contribution to the protection of the environment: clean the surrounding areas from garbage, plant at least one tree, and renounce the use of the car at least for a day. The earth requires our care and attention. We are responsible for its preservation.
