The event \”Love and Protect Nature!\” with children of IDPs

The war forced everyone to move away from their usual lives, thousands of people fled their homes to save the lives of their loved ones and themselves, especially the war-affected children. That is why on March 28 another art therapy \”Love and protect nature!\” for children of IDPs took place in Transcarpathian Regional Library for Youth. Art therapy affects the harmonization of the condition of children through self-expression and self-awareness. The use of painting as an art can be used to express and explore a variety of feelings and emotions on a symbolic level.

Marian conducted a class during which he introduced new drawing techniques to participants. He also drew attention to the state of nature, which also suffers in these difficult times for Ukraine. He emphasized the need for harmonious interaction between man and nature. After all, the importance and role of nature in human life are difficult to overestimate – man is part of nature, so it is impossible to exist separately from it. That is why nature must be protected!

The event was held in cooperation with the Interreligious and Environmental Civil Forum of Eastern Europe (IRCEF) with the support of the German Conservation Union (NABU).
