On March 10, 2022, representatives of the Institute of Ecological and Religious Studies (IERS) (Alexander Bokotey, Nataliya Kulya), the Interreligious and Civil Environmental Forum of Eastern Europe (IRCEF) (Mykhailo Bilanych and Iryna Shyshkina), and prof. Matthew Temple, Chair of the IRCEF Climate Change Committee, Fellow of the Fulbright, a geneticist, a Carmelite, and a lecturer at Nazareth College in Rochester (NY), USA, were discussing the ways to adjust the work of organizations due to full-scale war, difficult social, economic and humanitarian situation, and a large number of IDPs and refugees.

The participants decided to focus all their efforts on strengthening work with IDPs in Transcarpathia, especially with children (for establishing a dialogue, mutual understanding, debunking East-West stereotypes, developing tolerant attitude), and for children and adults to keep their minds off and mentally rested at least for some time without losing contact with environmental movements).
The participants also agreed to hold an online meeting with representatives of the US Embassy in Hungary, a number of Hungarian environmental organizations (Pet Kupa) to join efforts to protect the environment in the Carpathians.
The webinar was held in cooperation with the Interreligious Civil Conservation Forum of Eastern Europe (IRCEF) and the German Nature Conservation Union (NABU).
