The residence of the Mukachevo Greek Catholic Eparchy showcased exceptional works from the winners of the regional stage of the All-Ukrainian competition “New Year’s Composition,” organized under the guidance of Oksana Kremin, the head of the Department of Ecology and Environmental Work at PADIUN. The presentation of these artworks, prepared in collaboration with the Ecological Commission of the MGCE, the Institute of Ecological and Religious Studies (IERS), and the Interreligious and Civil Environmental Forum of Eastern Europe (IRCEF), took place at the Eparchy’s residence.
These children’s artworks stood out for their impressive craftsmanship, originality, and adept use and integration of natural materials such as cones, acorns, moss, tree bark, dry branches, stones, pine needles, and more. The compositions beautifully captured various Christmas themes, ranging from depictions of the Nativity to the children’s interpretations of Christmas traditions. Each piece carried profound meaning, reflecting the children’s ideas about the holiday and spreading boundless tenderness and faith in goodness to visitors. Everyone is invited to visit the MGCE residence during the holidays and immerse themselves in this enchanting atmosphere with us!
As 2023 comes to an end, we express our gratitude to the Armed Forces of Ukraine for providing us the opportunity to live, work, and spread joy to everyone around us. We extend heartfelt congratulations on the approaching holidays and wish you and your families peace, victory, and prosperity in the new year 2024!
