On December 6, the Synevyr Lyceum played host to a workshop focused on crafting angel charms intended for the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The event, dedicated to the Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, was led by Lyubov Grechyn, an expert from the Interreligious and Civil Environmental Forum of Eastern Europe (IRCEF), alongside teacher Svitlana Savynets.
Throughout the session, the children delved into the significance of this holiday for Ukrainians and explored the reasons behind the need to honor and respect the brave soldiers and defenders who valiantly safeguard our country from the enemies. In an effort to invoke divine protection for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the children passionately created charms for the soldiers—crafted in the form of paper angels. These thoughtful charms are intended to be sent to our defenders through the assistance of dedicated volunteers.
The event was held within the framework of cooperation between the Interreligious and Civil Environmental Forum of Eastern Europe (IRCEF) headed by Olexander Bokotey) and the German Nature Conservation Union (NABU Bundesverband, NABU International), project coordinators Ivan Tymofeiev (NABU), and Nataliya Kulya (IRCEF).
