\”It\’s All of Us\” – a book about love for animals and nature, true friendship and the desire to change the world

Environmental pollution is mentioned in the debut book of the writer Yevgeniy Zavaly \”It\’s all of us\”

Estimates of up to 8 million tonnes of plastic that kill marine animals annually are estimated in the ocean. According to official government data, 36 billion tonnes of waste have been accumulated in Ukraine, but in reality, much more. Environmental pollution is mentioned in the debut book by writer Eugene Zavaliy \”It\’s All of Us\”, which saw the light in the children\’s art publishing house \”Black Sheep\”. Illustrated by Maria Foy\’s edition.

The book tells how one day 13-year-old Andrew and his friends find a lot of dead fish by the sea. They are trying to find out the causes of the environmental disaster and find ways to solve it. Readers will learn about dolphins and marine pollution, volunteers and waste sorting, as well as how to sign petitions and form public opinion.

According to the author, Eugene Zavaliy, the book is important above all because it is about the environment and the cities, the pollution and the problems with garbage that people face every day. “The book also tells us that everyone, even a child, can do something and how these little things change lives. From the experience of recent meetings with readers, I understand – adds the writer – that this publication is interesting for both children and adults. Especially if you\’re just going to start sorting garbage or helping with environmental projects. \”

Meeting storks at the Berehovo Public Center “Everyone Can Help”

At the Berehovo Public Center “Everyone Can Help,” eco-activists hosted an educational session for children focused on stork conservation. With the storks soon beginning their mass migration to Africa for the winter, the session aimed to raise awareness about the challenges these birds face during their long journey. Additionally, the session highlighted the plight of storks that, due to injury or other reasons, will be unable to join the migration and will stay behind in Ukraine throughout the winter.
