Ecological Space of Our Being

We all owe our lives to our beautiful planet Earth. Yes, we all owe. However, we often do not understand that we are a collection of many “Selves”, a multitude of each of us.

Our next interactive conversation “I and We. Ecological Space of Being” was devoted to understanding the principles of individualism and collectivism in understanding the ecological responsibility of Mankind.

The seminar was held at the University of the Georgian Patriarchate named after the Holy Queen Tamara.

Professor Archimandrite Adam Vakhtang Akhaladze told the participants of the seminar – students and professors of the university about modern environmental problems. The professor emphasized the importance of environmental education. He answered numerous questions from the seminar participants.

The event took place on December 20 at 16.00. initiated by our non-governmental organization. It was held within the framework of the project “Churches, religious and public organizations for the eco-education of national minorities”, which is implemented by the Interreligious and Environmental Civil Forum of Eastern Europe (IRCEF) (head by Alexander Bokotey) in cooperation with the German Nature Conservation Union (NABU Bundesverband NABU International ) with the support of the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Auswärtiges Amt #AA_Kultur #CivilSocietyCooperation ) project coordinators Ivan Tymofeiev (NABU), Nataliya Kulya (IRCEF).
