Ecological event \”Learning by playing\” in Synevyr UTC

On March 20, a thematic event for children was held in Synevyr UTC (known as the united territorial community). It was conducted by Lyubov Grechyn, a specialist in the Department of Environmental Education at the Synevyr National  Nature Park.

\”Learning by playing\” is the goal of the event, which was attended by 12 children. Children made a virtual tour of the trails of the Synevyr National Nature Park with the help of an ecological board game. Solving crossword puzzles was also an interesting activity for the participants of the event.

“Learning by playing” is one of the most effective pedagogical methods. It forms students\’ ecological thinking, develops spatial imagination, and teaches them to learn about the world around them.

The event was held in cooperation with the Interreligious and Civil Environmental Forum of Eastern Europe (IRCEF, led by Alexander Bokotey) with the support of the German Nature Conservation Union (NABU Bundesverband, NABU International, project coordinator Ivan Tymofeiev).
