“Laudato si” – “Glorious Be” is the encyclical of Pope Francis
It is the second encyclical of the Pope, published on June 18, 2015, dedicated to environmental and environmental issues.
The name of the encyclical comes from the adage “Laudato si ‘, mi’ Signore” of St. Francis of Assisi, who in his “Hymn of Creation” said that the earth is our common home. St. Francis, in whose honor his father took his name, is often mentioned in the encyclical, and Pope Francis views him as an example of how “inseparable from nature, justice to the poor, a conscious position in society and the inner world” are inseparable.
