The Transcarpathian Regional Ecological and Naturalist Center for Students Youth, together with the Interreligious and Environmental Civil Forum of Eastern Europe (IRCEF) and the German Nature Conservation Union (NABU), is holding a children’s environmental contest “Let’s save nature in the days of war” (hereinafter – the Contest). The terms of the Competition are attached.
The main goal of the Competition is to attract the attention of society, in particular children and youth, to the issues of protection and preservation of the natural environment, and the development of the environmental culture of schoolchildren. The main tasks of the Contest are:
– deepening of children’s knowledge about different biotopes, flora, and fauna;
– involvement of a wide range of young people in studying the nature of their native land;
– activation of children’s creative potential;
– revealing, selecting, and support of talented youth.
