In celebration of Easter, the Ecological Commission of the Mukachevo Greek Catholic Eparchy, in collaboration with Oksana Kremin, an expert of the Institute of Ecological and Religious Studies, has organized a stunning display of Easter eggs and arrangements at the MCCE bishops’ residence.

The Pysanka, a cherished ancient symbol of Ukraine, embodies the rich tapestry of traditions and the enchanting essence of the national ethos. This truth becomes palpable upon entering the exhibition, where the remarkable creations of young ecologists await. These talented children participated in creative eco-educational initiatives in partnership with the MGCE’s Ecological Commission, the Institute of Ecological and Religious Studies (IERS), and the Interreligious and Civil Environmental Forum of Eastern Europe (IRCEF).

The exhibition showcases artwork created by young Ukrainians who were compelled to flee their homes because of the war, as well as by students of “PADIUN”. Each Easter egg created by these young artisans, represents a fusion of traditional and contemporary techniques, bearing witness to the dedication, love, and unwavering faith in Ukraine’s victory.

We warmly invite you to partake in this exhibit of creativity and resilience. The exhibition is set to conclude in just a few days. Don’t miss the opportunity to witness these captivating exhibits firsthand!

Kind regards,
